In the middle of nowhere, propped against a wooden hut among Scots Pine and Larch trees, stood this old delivery bike. The Brooks leather saddle had seen better days! I have since discovered that this model of saddle is still in production.

..."Moo!" - English Longhorn bull, Little Bredy, Dorset (below)
With great trepidation I joined this monstrous English Longhorn bull in its field. Deep in Thomas Hardy country, in the beautiful rolling chalk downland of South Dorset, lies the hamlet of Little Bredy. Here, is a herd of these ancient cattle, bred for commercial purposes.
It proved nigh impossible to get near to a mixed herd of these cattle - they simply ran away!

A friend, sitting among spring bluebells on an East Devon hillside. I did not want to personalise this picture, so I asked her to turn away from the camera - I love the "drop off" in focus in the background.

This old 3-cylinder tractor still runs, daily. It is parked by the roadside of the main A35, at Kilmington, East Devon.
