Tobermory Lighthouse can be reached by a narrow cliff-top path, through woodland and scrub with the sea on one side..  The walk is approximately 1 1/2 miles from the ferry terminal at the far end of the waterfront of Tobermory.

 

On arrival at the lighthouse I noticed far up in the sky, over my left shoulder, a sea eagle, joined soon afterwards by another - presumably its mate.
